Diversiton is publishing a new updated edition of the popular ‘Check-Up!’ booklet for healthcare staff. By ordering your copies before the end of June we can include your orgainsation and logo at no cost.
‘Check-Up!’ is a handy and practical guide to the special healthcare needs of ethnic-religious communities. The new edition has a wider range of religions and beliefs than before plus more useful contacts across the UK and Ireland. Practical considerations on issues such as dress, diet, birth, surgery, care of the dying and death are covered for different traditions to support your staff.
As before, we will be producing the booklet with the support of a number of Health Trusts/PCTs. This has been a very successful partnership in the first 2 editions of the booklet and Health Care organisations from across the UK and Ireland can be included in the new edition. I would like to express our thanks to all those bodies who have partnered and purchased copies of previous editions.
How many copies do you need?
Partners who order 200 - 400 copies - Your organisation logo will be on the Back cover plus we'll include your organisational details in our directory (Contact person, full address and contact numbers)
Partners who order 100 - 199 copies - Your organisation logo will be on the Inside back cover plus we'll include your organisational details in our directory (Contact person, full address and contact numbers)
Partners who order 20 - 99 copies - We'll include your organisational details in our directory (Contact person, full address and contact numbers)
(The retail price off the new edition is £4.95 or €6.25 each plus postage). Partners however pay only £4.50 or €5.60 with no postage costs.
Please note that ‘Check-Up!’ is printed every three years – so do take this opportunity to order enough copies. The booklet will ensure your staff are familiar with the dietary requirements of different faiths and beliefs, provide a quick guide on what to do if a patient from a particular faith community dies and helps to promote awareness of diversity in practical day to day situations.
The closing date to let us know if you wish to include your organisation in the new ‘Check-Up!’ has now been extended, due to requests to the 31st July 2008. We will write, design and print the booklet over the summer and issue to our Partners in September.
Web based edition
And finally, don't forget to request your web based edition which you can place on your organisation's website. At only £99 per annum, this is a very cost effective way to ensure easy access for all your staff.
